We will start the show and tell off tonight with a special little quilt that was made for the crew at Bean around the MEAO – the coffee shop at Al Minhad Air Base in Dubai. I am told that this is a little oasis on the base that everyone loves so when I was asked to make them a small wall hanging it seemed like a great idea.  Afterall this is another way of getting our name out there and also puts a bit if Aussie flavour in a place that our troops frequent.  Big thanks to Louise who designed the quilt top and Stephanie who quilted and bound it.  The crew will be moving into their new premises in the near future and they have promised photos of it in situ!
