Thank you for your interest in Aussie Hero Quilts (and Laundry Bags) and your interest in helping out our wonderful charity.

The vast majority of our quilts and laundry bags are made to match requests submitted by the sailors, soldiers, airmen and airwomen who will receive them. These products are made by our wonderful, enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteers. Our volunteers donate their time and resources to make the amazing quilts and laundry bags that are sent to the members of the Australian Defence Force who are deployed around the world.

To help our volunteers to continue to provide the fabulous gifts to our service men and women, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Below are some of the gift ideas that you can donate to help Aussie Hero Quilts (and Laundry Bags) continue with our inspiring work.

Make A Cash Donation

Probably the most useful, but also the hardest to ask for, is a cash donation to the bank account.

Alternatively, you can make a direct deposit. We don’t need a huge amount of money in the bank but each roll of batting costs a few hundred dollars – I can’t say exactly how much as the lovely guy who supplies it give it to me at a great price and free of shipping charges on the condition that Mum’s the word! Even small donations help.

A Spotlight eGift Card can be sent directly to Aussie Hero Quilts (and Laundry Bags) where we can purchase much needed supplies that are to used to make our quilts and laundry bags.

Prepaid Parcel Post Satchels are a great gift as these can be used to post out to recipients of compassionate quilts or for our Fallen Warrior Quilts.

Donate Some Stamps

Stamps are a highly used items at Aussie Hero Quilts (and Laundry Bags). We use standard stamps to send crests and badges to our volunteers to complete their quilts and laundry bags or to post satchels that are used to ship the quilts and laundry bags to the recipients.

Donate a Coles or Woolies Gift Card

Coles and Woolies gift cards are very helpful too. These gift cards can be used by our quilters to purchase goodies to go into the boxes along with the quilts. If you live near a quilter then ask them what they need to include and then buy some of those items.
