Weekly Dispatches 9 March 2018

9 March 2018

Hi all,

Busy ten days or so coming up.  Off to Penrith tomorrow for a sewing day  and then heading down to Canberra on Monday.  One meeting at 43pm that afternoon and then hopefully three meetings on Tuesday…. can’t say too much at this stage but surprising some deserving recipients with Laundry Bags  and checking out two venues for our dinner.   I won’t be happy till I have a venue locked in.

On Wednesday I have workmen coming to the house in Canberra to do some work, mending a leaking roof among other things and then on Thursday I am heading home to Sydney.

Sewing Day at my home on Friday.

On Saturday Lynn, Arthur and I will be at the DC Richmond Meet & Greet/Annual Easter Egg Hunt which is being held at the Ted McCabe Conference Centre, located in the grounds of Hawkesbury Race Club, 1 Racecourse Road, Clarendon, 18 10am to 12 noon.   If you are in the area please stop in and say hello.

Sunday the 18th will find me joining the Krazy Kwilters at a sewing retreat for the day at Mulgo.

Monday is request list day, Tuesday the 20th is a sewing day with the WPH ladies and then on the Thursday I head to Adelaide for dinner on the Thursday night and then I am one of the speakers at the Ororroo Rural Round Up on the weekend.

I get home on Monday the 26th and thank goodness Easter is the following weekend… though to be honest, as I will have my husband home for four days it looks like we will start our packing that weekend.

That is enough to keep me out of mischief!

It looks like the rest of you have been busy too, check out the awesome work from this week.

So far for 2018 we have sent off 287 quilts

Bringing our total since we started to over 8,702 quilts

693 laundry bags for the year

Which brings us to a total of 17,233 since we started…
