The end of another busy week and we are slowly getting back on track. It would be a lot easier if I could count on everyone to read the blog regularly as that is the easiest way for me to disseminate the infomation.
We are getting there though. I miss the storage I had in my old house but things are slowly falling in to place. Hopefully this week I will be able to give you a photographic tour of the new Aussie Heroes Headquarters. Might need to tidy it a little first!!!
So far for 2016 we have sent off 1726 laundry bags
which brings us to a total of 9546 since we started…
and…
We have also sent 805 quilts
bringing our total since we started to over 6086 quilts.
A very special quilt is up first tonight to start off this week’s show and tell.
This is the quilt that will be auctioned at the Soldier On Ball on the last weekend in August.
Beautifully made by Donna J, the theme is Transition and speaks to the move from Defence member to civilian, a journey that is often quite challenging for those we care about.
And now for the rest of our dispatches…..

Lots of lovely quilts and laundry bags and more to go next week… and the week after… and the week after!!!
Well done everyone!
And for those who are interested…..
This week the demolition of our house was completed….. all that is left is our spa and a bit of garden including my favourite grevillea and some fruit trees.
Not what I would call a CLEAN slate but the way is now cleared for a fresh start…
BRING IT ON…..
Till next time…………keep spreading the word and happy stitching!
