These are the lovely Quilts and Laundry Bags that have
been dispatched this week by contributors all over Australia.
Hopefully, they will put a smile on the face of Recipients as they open their
packages and read the notes thanking them for their Service and their sacrifice.
We often read of the excitement of mates surrounding them as they are opened, and
the atmosphere it creates in the places where they are serving.
I count it a privilege to be a part of Aussie Hero Quilts as we have such a
positive impact on the lives of our Defence Force Personnel.
This year so far we have sent off 661 quilts
and that has brought our total since we started to
more than 10,796 quilts.
We have also sent off 1,149 laundry bags,
bringing our total since we started
to over 21,297 laundry bags
