I’ve had a huge week but I don’t think that I have been half as busy as you quilters. Jan-Maree was just describing how fantastic it was today to meet the recipients of the laundry bags for HMAS Darwin crew. I had the pleasure of handling some of the gorgeous and cleverly designed and sewn laundry bags that were distributed today and all I can say is that you should all be very proud of the gifts. They were received with great pleasure and pride.
So far for 2017 we have sent off 1174 quilts
bringing our total since we started to over 7,817 quilts
AND
2359 laundry bags for the year
which brings us to a total of 15,416 since we started…
We have crossed the 15000 mark!!!
