How this all started ….

I started doing random alliteration for fun on the weekly dispatches like these one’s below.

These compelling creations where the clever creator has carefully communicated and converted the request into a conspicuous sometimes complicated but cosy creation. Much care, choice and calculations were employed to capture, convert and comprehend the request to contribute to the recipients wellbeing. These amazing capable creators are to be congratulated!

And this one…

Fabulous fabrics. Made by fantastic, fervent, faithful quilters who are flexible with designs, creating fascinating features that usually flabbergast the fortunate recipient.

Then I did A on 5 July post..

What an abundant achievement with these accomplished, attractive, adorned items. Where amazing quilters taken on some ambitious requests to astonish and accommodate and to show appreciation to the recipients with many items going abroad. Where their work can be admired, demonstrating ability with alluring designs that come alive to amaze and astonish. The quilters are to be applauded and these items will be appreciated.

Anna Charleston – Cathy please tell me you are going to work through the alphabet!!

Anne Horner – the next one will be a beautiful bounty/bunch of bags?

Me – Are you taking over Anne??

Anne Horner – definitely not!

So, the seed was planted, and I have run with it ever since, each week working on the next letter of the alphabet to come up with something using as much alliteration as possible and create a story.

I got out an exercise book, dictionary, thesaurus and started listing all the words that I considered appropriate and that I could use and have ready in advance. I just keep adding a few letters of the alphabet in advance in preparation for the upcoming weeks. I then sit with my book and write an alliteration comment for Facebook, and it just flows with ideas that I add to the weekly dispatches for fun.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the alphabet.

What a beautiful bunch of bright, brilliant designs. Nothing bland here. A broad range of becoming blocks, sometimes bazaar, creations that beg belief. These are much beloved, blessings that the recipient can boast about their bold designs that often have badges, a bomb, a boarder, nothing boring on these. The recipients benefit from the beauty and beam with pride, holding back tears & are baffled with how the quilters interprets & creates builds the broad range of designs with contrast binding and a fitting background.

Clever creative people are to be congratulated on these colourful, careful choices to capture the recipients requests. Lots of calculations to calibrate & convert into a combination of cosy, compatible designs with some complicated blocks which are conspicuous & contribute to communicate the request. Often the requests ask for camouflage, a caravan, coastal scene, a caption or a cartoon to be considered in the creation. These are made with care from conscientious quilters who are compelled to do their best in crafting the cavalcade of designs we see. Perhaps while crafting these creations chocolate or a Cabernet or caffeine is consumed or a celebratory champagne at the completion of a challenging design. The recipients clamour to open these parcels. They may let out a clanger upon seeing the complicated creation that has been crafted for them and feel compulsion to clutch their precious gift, struggling to comprehend how their request has culminated into this amazing configuration which they cherish.

Anne Horner – compelling comment Cathy!

These distinct, decorative, different, delightful designs will not disappoint. Made by devoted quilters who demonstrate a range of different skills who work with deliberate, definite, diligent, determination to produce items for our defence people with depth, a high degree of difficulty, with dominate, dapper, designs that include lots of dynamic decorations. These get deployed in different directions to often desolate, dangerous locations where they deal with high demands as they discover what has been developed for them they dance & display these newly delivered items with delight.

What an extreme, exceptional, extensive, explosion of extravagant, endearing laundry bags that are exhibited here. The quilt designs are extraordinary & exemplify expertise, embrace the request with a range of design elements that elicit an emotional response from enthusiastic recipients who are elated with the elaborate, enthralling, enviable design that exceeds their expectations and are eager to extol the expertly crafted especially made creation.

Feature & fashionable fabrics used in these flashy, fantastic forever items for the fortunate recipients who some are in foreign lands. The fabulous, fastidious, fervent, faithful makers pick what takes their fancy from the flexible options to fashion a flamboyant design that the recipient can flaunt and are often left flabbergasted.

What a grand gallery of glorious gestures of genuine generosity. Genius designs, some with a different genre, some with a hint of glitter, others are glamorous with at a glance a recognisable service crest. Our gallant service personnel get giddy & giggle at the arrival of the gorgeous special gift. They open it with gladness & gaiety wondering how their gamble for a personalised gift has paid off. They gaze at & gloat over their generous, gracious grand gift that they have been given & are grateful for.

These harmonious, handy quilts and laundry bags bring happiness to our heroes that experience hardship & homesickness being away from home. These heart felt handsome creations are to honour our recipients who maybe on humanitarian missions in hostile parts of the world. These are a warm hug from home, to give them hope and make them happy.

From the request list some requests are a bit hair-raising while others humorous. I’ve been told there is a bit of a hullabaloo when the mail arrives. The recipients are not hesitant in opening the hidden treasure that lies inside their parcel. They may need a handkerchief and be humbled upon seeing the amazing, handcrafted creation made especially for them.

……..

I hope this brings delight and a smile to faces when they read it. Some of the letters to come will be hard as few words to use.
