There are lots of fabric companies and stores out there and we are not able to promote them all but occasionally one comes along that is extra special for one reason or another. Cloth Cuts is one of those businesses and we have chosen to partner with them. Please allow me to introduce you to Michal…

Hello everyone! My name is Michal Jefferson, and thanks to
several gorgeous AHQ ladies, you may have heard of Cloth Cuts, our small
business that I run alongside my husband. Cloth Cuts is an online fabric store
specialising in custom digitally printed fabric.

We have worked beside some extraordinary AHQ ladies to
create specific prints for the Aussie Hero Quilts Community, such as our range
of dog breeds fabric (especially the heelers and red kelpies), some
military-inspired prints, and the Australian Flag fabric which has been
certified by the Federal Government.

We’ve spent some time researching and testing our fabric
bases and have found our 100% Cotton Twill is perfect for quilting. However, if
laundry bags are more your thing, we would suggest our 100% Cotton Canvas,
which is very similar to a Cotton Drill, for more durability. Both of these
fabric bases are 150cm wide.

Last year, Jan-Maree asked my mum (Lesley Barnes) and me to
hold a stall at the upcoming AHQ Canberra get-together to display and sell some
of our fabrics. However, with the get-together postponed, we want to do
something exclusive and offer you a special discount across our entire online
range of fabric bases and prints.

On our website, you can choose from over 300 designs to be
printed on 11 fabric bases. We’ll then custom print the fabric and send it to
you within 5-7 weeks. We also have many bases and designs in stock and ready to
ship, so make sure you check out the “In Stock” area on our website too. It’s
especially well-stocked at the moment.

Fabric Surf Seeker

These are some of the other prints that Michal has created in response to requests from AHQ volunteers and myself. I just love the Black Hawk fabric – it is soo hard to get any fabric with helicopters on it so I will be ordering some of that for sure. And I love the Thank You fabric. Such a lovely touch for our quilts and bags.
