Happy Wednesday Friends!

There are, as always, some beautiful sentiments in the following gratitude letters.

Grab a cuppa, sit back and relax while you soak up some well-deserved gratitude!

Hi Bel P,

The quilt has arrived.

I love it, the detail you have gone to is amazing, plus the extra touches of the pictures of my family and I were
unexpected.

I have included a photo with the quilt in front of an E-7A Wedgetail.

Thank you for the letter that came with the quilt, you and your family certainly have some deep roots within Defence.

Hope you have an enjoyable break and some well earnt relaxing time with family and friends.

Thank you again.

Warm Regards,

Hi Laura C,

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the laundry bag, calender and your lovely letter. I really enjoyed reading it. The
bag is awesome. I love the Balmain Tigers design and it’ll definitely get plenty of use.

It was great hearing about your volunteering, travels, flying adventures and time with your family. What you do with
Aussie Hero Quilts is incredibly kind, and I’m very grateful to be the lucky owner of No. 82.

Thanks again for taking the time to make and send something so special. It really means a lot.

All the best,

***

Good morning Trish, Deb and Jan-Maree,

I wanted to take the opportunity to reach out after receiving my one of a kind quilt which I understand was created by
both of you. It has been received safe and sound and it is everything I asked for and more, I love it.

I truly appreciate your time, care and skill that went into making the quilt for me. The quilt means a great deal,
along with the meaning of why it is you do what you do and will be with me all my travels.

Once again thank you for what you do keep up the amazing work and have a great day.

Many thanks

Hey Clarissa L,
Just received my laundry bag and could not be more stoked! I read your amazing message and just wanted to reach out to
say a big thanks.
I saw that you support Randwick which is sad to hear as I’m currently playing for Easts! Hopefully this year I will
be playing first or second grade. If you ever hear my name whilst watching feel free to let me know!
Cheers

Hello Shirley D,

I would like to say a massive thank you for my amazing laundry bag, I love every part of it, you have done such an
amazing job.

I really loved your letter and getting to know a little bit about yourself and your family, it put a smile on my face to
read you’re from Victoria and love to play golf, I’m originally from Victoria myself with my family still living down
there, and my mum living in Torquay. My twin brother and dad both love their golf as well.

Thank you so much for what you do with Aussie Hero Quilts and Laundry bags, I know myself and everyone else who receives
your amazing work are very grateful and it means so much to me.
Thank you so much,

***

The following photo was taken at our annual dinner in Canberra. The recipient was so pleased to see
this and felt very privileged. In her words:

“My goodness – I cannot believe you managed to get a photo of my quilt with CAF and WOFF-AF – this is sooooo cool and
it really left me a little speechless and feeling a bit special! I hope they were as proud of your creation as I am
:)”
